  • Minutes approved

President’s Report

  • Alan reported that the picnic shelter is nearly constructed near Wulfy Beach. Alan is funding the labor and supplying lumber he milled from his lake property. Looks amazing!

Vice President’s Report

  • History dinner went well.

Tenmile Lakes Basin Partnership Report

  • Not present

Outreach Committee

  • History Dinner Fundraiser September 24, 2022 was a success. 42 guests. TLA raised $1100 after expenses. Next year we need a microphone for speaker. Maybe a projector. Location was good.

Membership Report

  • Emails obtained from State of Lakes Dinner have been entered into mailchimp.

  • Members - Check your spam email to ensure you are getting TLA emails from tenmilelakes@gmail.com.


Old Business

  • Update on Tenmile Creek Restoration → Alan checked structure and it is functioning well, ~3 ft difference between above and below logs. Willows growing.

  • Algae report = With the hot weather there have been algae blooms, but no tests have been taken.

  • The Marine Sheriff gave Greta a few “No Wakes, Idle” for the canal. Will replace old signs in winter when water is higher.
