Creek Restoration Update 8.13.20

The last of the 4 large logs to be used for the Tenmile Creek Restoration Project was readied for delivery to the project site early on Saturday morning. Another BIG Thanks goes to South Port Lumber and Forest Products for coordinating the falling, prep, and transport of the logs. Without South Port Lumber’s wonderful

donations, this important project would not be happening this summer.

We finally got the busiest man on the South Coast to slow down for a picture, Mr. Tom Miller, a Lakeside Hero, and South Port’s Logging Manager, has been the force behind getting everything with the Logs. He is one of those people who really doesn’t want any kudos, but he deserves a huge Thank You Tom!
