TLBP Report

Sept 12 is the next board meeting. Open to Public

Working on the permitting process for restoration projects, among many other projects.

Algae bloom testing – test when observing algae blooms in 1 of the 3 sites. No testing to date.

OLD BUSINESS

TLA needs to continue raising donations for lake projects. For example, Total donations for creek restoration: $80,547.57, and Total creek restoration expenses (doesn’t include insurance): $71,259.05. Please donate to help improve the lake quality mission. Ask Blume to include it in the email.

Dock address signs – call Lakeside Fire Department and they will purchase and install lake address signs at no charge to the homeowner.


EVENTS

August 19: Large item pick-up, which includes items cabin owners can’t haul in a boat, like fridges, couches, and kitchen appliances. Items must be on the dock. No household garbage is accepted. Donations are appreciated. Start at 9 am. TLA needs volunteers.

Alan hasn’t received any interest yet, but that's not unusual. Dennis will loan TLA a barge for N Lake large item pick up. Ask Blume to post information to the website and send an email.

State of the Lakes Dinner at Lakeside Lions Club. Dinner cost $10.

Greta to make bid item sheets. Debbie needs help when Auction ends. James Edwards is the speaker. TLA will use a speaker system. TLA members asked to donate an auction item.

New Business

Coming soon - Tenmile Barge and Marine Construction, LLC. Contact Mike (541) 751-5403 or Adam (541) 404-2549 for services they will provide.

TLA is getting emailsat about damage to docks from wake boats. 200’ from docks. Public needs to get an OR number and report it to the Marine Sheriff. You can also report to the Oregon State Marine Board website: Oregon State Marine Board: Report A Boater Boater Info : State of Oregon. TLA will post rules on the website.

New Beaver Trapper – Kevin Harmon. May need permits (ask TLBP)
