Septic upgrade/repair

November 1 DEQ sent out a notice for applications for grants for septic system upgrade/repair. The state has set aside 15 million dollars for this process. The deadlines for the grant applications are ridiculous considering that it took over a year to get some semblance of guidelines. However, we and TLBP would like to find out how many owners would be willing to upgrade/repair their systems if some money was available. The state has restricted it to low- and moderate-income levels but did not give monetary value to this. I would like owners who feel they would like to pursue this to contact Mike Mader at tlbp@presys.com , 541-260-0914 or myself at whitneyalan9@gmail.com , 541-297-1663.
