TLBP Report

• Waiting for update on lake aeration project. Formal requests are being put in. Nothing new from last meeting.

• Acquisition of wetlands – Still pending.

Outreach Committee

• Earth Day clean up, presume a barge on N and S Lake and Wulfy Beach – First weekend in May.

o Jim will reach out to Julie to find out when she will be back and other details.

o Renee will reach out to Mike Mader of Wulfy Beach Clean up

o Renee will reach out to the Riders Association in Lakeside, who may want to help with clean up.

• Large of item pick up – Likely in Aug, because we can social distance.

• July 4, 2021 - unsure

o Suggestion for raising money for Fireworks. Go to main Lakeside business and reach out to people (social media and word of mouth).

Membership Report

• Should we make a contributing member vs non-contributing member?

• The difficulty is that we do not have a membership officer to no keep track of memberships/paid/reminders. Blume and John have a spreadsheet that the last membership officer. Membership Officer is responsible Recruitment/payments/email reminders.

• Bi-laws – a member does not have to pay to be a member, therefore people in the facebook group can be counted as members.

• Table motion to approve/disapprove paid memberships.

o Jim will talk to John and Blume about membership spreadsheet.

o Greta will ask about automation/database.

Old Business

Tenmile Creek Restoration: Functioning

Algae Report – TLBP may do another check.

Lake Gauge Report

• Today 11.7’ 3/03/2021, for comparison 10.5’ 3/13/2020

Life Jacket Station at County Docks

• Renee/Alan discussed TLA designing and building the structure using existing posts. Must get Marine Board and County approval. Renee said getting grant money was a more complicated process.

Wake Signs

• Asking Tribe if TLA can put wake signs on their property on N Lake. (Old Easter Seals Camp).

• Osprey, N Lake, Ringos, County Docks have been given signs.

• Jim talked to Lake Sherriff and he recommended putting the signs up in the canal posts.

• Alan will get more signs.
