First and foremost, thank you so very much to Alan for planning and building the structure. It turned out better than we imagined. Thank you Mike for making the all-important call to Craig Storm to allow it to happen. Thank you John and Cathy for purchasing the signage and providing the lifejackets! It truly takes a village and what a great village we have!
We took a peek at the station today (Memorial Day) and one vest of fifteen was absent. Hopefully being used and returned. Most vests were in different spots and unbuckled leading us to believe they have been used or tried on. Yay!
As for the "ribbon cutting", we have not received a response from the County regarding a potential event. The important thing is the life jackets are there. We are not going to pursue it any further.
Thank you all again,
Renee and Jim
This is a fantastic initiative! Keeping people safe on the water is just as important as staying warm on land. Just like a life jacket is essential for safety, having the right outerwear is crucial for braving the cold. Investing in top men's coats for cold weather ensures both comfort and protection during outdoor adventures. Great update—thanks for sharing!
