Over 2 days the canal was visibly widened, providing a safer passage of the canal, especially for emergency responders. Attention lake users! On Wednesday and Thursday of this week workers will be trimming back the willows along the canal between the hours of 9AM and 3PM. This maintenance is being performed to improve safety and navigation of the canal. While the canal will NOT be closed for this work, please use extra caution while navigating the canal during this time.
